The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Utah is seeking applicants for a faculty position on the Tenure Track at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels to join our established Lung Transplant program. The successful candidate will participate in the Division's clinical, educational and clinical research programs. Primary duties will focus on the care of lung transplant patients, including initial evaluation, peri-transplant care and post-transplant care at the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics. The position includes opportunities for educational activities with trainees (fellows, residents and medical students), and work on translational research and quality improvement projects. The selected candidate will devote effort in programmatic development and outreach. Preference will be given to individuals with significant transplant experience. Applicants must possess a M.D., must be ABIM board certified, BE/BC in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and eligible for a medical licensure in the state of Utah. Successful candidates will be appointed at a faculty rank and salary appropriate for his/her qualifications. Recruitment is ongoing until a suitable candidate is identified or the search is closed.
