Job Summary
Provides complex administrative support to faculty of the Anatomic Pathology Division, including the implementation and coordination of activities for clinical fellowship programs. This position will help ensure divisional goals and objectives are met in accordance with established criteria. Interprets program policies and advises program participants on the application of regulations.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Oversees daily program operations in the support of Clinical Faculty and department management by managing calendars, coordinating meeting and conferences, maintaining and ordering office supplies.
2. Works harmoniously with technical laboratory personnel to support daily clinical operations.
3. Monitors related program and Division expenditures and ensures budgets are not exceeded, processes travel requests, reimbursements, and other financial requests, including data entry and reallocation of funds to appropriate accounts.
4. Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports, assists with inventory management and maintenance of program and Division equipment (including microscopes and accessories).
5. Advises staff, students and others regarding program policies, goals and related technical issues.
6. Prepares reports, financial statements and records on program status and progress for management and outside agencies.
7. Writes and edits program related publications and promotional or educational materials including faculty profiles.
8. Schedules meetings, seminars and other related functions for division faculty.
9. Assists with the onboarding/offboarding of new program and Division faculty and staff.
10. Coordinates workflow on faculty research projects and tracks their progress.
11. Assists with the management of digital slide collections.
12. Other duties as assigned.
PROBLEM SOLVING
This position provides coordination and decision making for the support of the specified programs and faculty within the Anatomic Pathology Division. The program outcome often impacts the University as a whole. Acts as a liaison between internal and external constituencies involved in program and departmental activities. Problems arising from these coordination efforts will be addressed by the incumbent who will refer to the manager for issues outside of program policy and procedure guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Preferences
PREFERENCES
Intermediate skills in Excel and Word preferred. Experience with Cerner Millennium, Aperio, Peoplesoft, University systems, FMS, and MBM system helpful but not required.
