The Reliability and Maintainability Center (RMC) within the Tickle College of Engineering is seeking a Program Coordinator interested in working in a team environment supporting internship programming and fiscal and human resources functions. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Program Coordinator will serve as the RMC internship Program Coordination recruiting, interviewing, and matching students with member companies, attend recruiting events, set up and host conferences, communication sessions, and materials related to the internship program, coordinate with communications to post recruiting positions on the website, handle the conference and Board of Advisor’s meeting administrative and setup support. This role will also process and review financial transactions such as but not limited to invoices, ledgers, contracts, tracking expenditures, internal transfers for the department, and provide some human resources support for hiring documents, transactions, policy compliance direction for faculty/staff, and time entry.


Qualifications :

Required Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or GED and five years of office environment work, program management, event planning, project management, and/or financial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent oral communication and writing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Ability to set up event materials (arrange chairs/tables, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects.

• Strong organizational and attention to details.
• Ability to learn and utilize technology (Example: Internet/On-line Resources, SAP GUI, and 25Live.)

• Ability to work occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in business, HR, or a field related to the position’s duties with 4 years of a combination of experience in an office environment, program management, event planning, project management, and/or financial experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a field related to the position’s duties with 3-4 years of a combination of experience in an office environment, program management, event planning, project management, and/or financial experience.

• Experience using CRM and invoicing programs.
• Experience involving education or related student support programs and/or student recruiting.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of UT fiscal and/or HR policies

• Project management skills
• Knowledge of job search elements such as resumes, interviewing, networking and of search etiquette.
