The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position for the 2024-2025 academic year with an anticipated start date of 26 August 2024. This position is outside of the tenure stream and entails teaching one field course in Urban Ecology in the fall term and one lecture course in Ecology in the spring term. Minimum qualifications are a PhD in Ecology or a related field and previous teaching experience. Preferred qualifications are the publication of post-graduate research work, training or work experience in urban ecology, experience as sole instructor, and experience teaching similar courses.
