Job Description Summary
The Statistical Analyst A position will provide statistical support for biomedical research projects including statistical analyses, data cleaning, write-ups of analyses, and production of tables and graphs for manuscripts and proposals, with oversight by senior BAC team members. The Statistical Analyst A will work with faculty biostatisticians and faculty investigators to develop clinical and experimental study designs and analysis plans. The analyst will develop and document SAS programs to create analysis datasets using efficient SAS programming techniques.
The Statistical Analyst B is a more-experienced version of the Statistical Analyst A, and thus will perform all of the above duties with a greater level of independence and less direction from senior project management staff.

- Check source data to verify completeness and accuracy
- Compile reports, charts, or graphs that describe and interpret findings of analyses
- Compute and analyze data, using statistical formulas and computers or calculators
- Enter data into computers for use in analyses or reports
- Participate in the publication of data or information
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
The position requires a highly motivated, articulate individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate should possess the ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Strong planning, organizational, and prioritizing capabilities along with problem-solving skills desired.
Statistical Analyst A: Bachelor's Degree in biostatistics or statistics and 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred.
Statistical Analyst B: The minimum of a Master's degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics or Public Health and at least 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
