Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstations for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); and intermittent (10%-50% of the time) job-related travel.

Shift

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, but may vary per program needs. (40hrs/week)

Job Summary

The Physician Marketing Liaison will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic outreach position, which is tied to the UK HealthCare marketing plan and leaderships goals. The purpose of the liaison position is to grow and build professional relationships between community providers and UK HealthCare. This person is responsible for marketing UK HealthCare clinical specialties to providers in their assigned geographic area in the southern/southeastern or northeastern part of Kentucky and adjacent regions. The liaison will be required to collaborate with other members of the liaison team, marketing service line, marketing and communications, executive leadership, UK departmental directors, clinical chairs, chiefs and staff. In addition, the liaison will be providing instruction on programs designed to improve communication and coordinate educational opportunities for UK faculty in the community. This position requires job travel and hosting virtual meetings per business needs. Candidates outside of the Lexington/Fayette county area are encouraged to apply, especially those from Southeastern Kentucky.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Ability to learn new software systems as needed
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to travel and have own transportation.
• Ability travel in state and some out of state travel may be required
