Job Summary
The Department of Neuroscience seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Laboratory Technician. The candidate for this position will be responsible for managing lab equipment and reagents, purchasing supplies, and assisting with data collection and analysis for genetics, cell biology, or neuroscience experiments.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Office, image analysis, and database management. Strongly prefer knowledge or experience with molecular biology, light microscopy, biochemistry, or genetics. Strong writing and communication skills.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
No
Preferred Education/Experience
Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field. Experience with spreadsheets or database software for data analysis and record keeping.
