Lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 lbs., sitting for long periods. Must have the ability to multi-task.
Shift
Monday through Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, per clinic and patient need. This position is not remote eligible.
Job Summary
The Financial Navigator is responsible for comprehensive, culturally competent patient financial management and advocacy. The Navigator conducts patient financial navigation and patient fiscal needs assessments and provides patient financial education. They will work closely with patients and their caregivers, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other co-workers to determine and execute the most appropriate fiscal solutions. The Navigator will provide analytical and operational support for relevant patient financial-related activities that may include but are not limited to billing and payment processes, analysis and strategy to avoid patient financial toxicity, Federal and State assistance application processes, research or grant enrollment processes, and may assist with identify drug replacement and/or co-payment services.
This position is not eligible for remote work options. This is a grant funded position.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as demonstrated cultural sensitivity.

Preferred Education/Experience
Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant healthcare financial assistance experience.
