Medical Clinician (MD, FNP, DNP, PA-C) 1 or More Positions Tribal Health Department (Multiple Sites)

The successful applicant must have an Active license to practice medicine in the United States and Montana. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for physicians. Current ACLS Certification at the time of hire. Current DEA license at the time of hire. Eligibility for malpractice/liability coverage. Preference will be given to candidates interested in treating opioid use disorder/Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with suboxone. Valid Driver’s license. As well as the following depending on Education level: Board Certified Physician: Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training program (for Physicians) upon starting employment. Board certification/board eligible in family medicine or internal medicine. Certified Physician Assistant: Successful completion of physician assistant school at an accredited school. Successful completion of Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Master’s degree): Successful completion of family nurse practitioner degree at an accredited school. Successful completion of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board exam. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Doctorate’s degree): Successful completion of family nurse practitioner degree at an accredited school. Successful completion of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board exam. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcripts, certifications, proof of state licensure, a copy of valid driver’s license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. Failure to submit all of the above information will result in immediate disqualification during the screening process. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary is variable, may be employed under contract.
