Part-Time Parks Maintenance Worker

Work requires some knowledge of grounds maintenance activities in connection with the upkeep of park grounds, park and recreations equipment, and parks and recreational facilities and/or buildings. Additional responsibilities include equipment service and repair and other duties as required. We are seeking a diligent and skilled Parks Maintenance Worker to join our team in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our parks and recreational areas. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and watering plants to maintain the park's landscaping. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic gardening and landscaping techniques, as well as experience operating lawn care equipment safely and efficiently. Additionally, the Parks Maintenance Worker will be responsible for inspecting park facilities for damage, graffiti, or other hazards, and reporting any issues to management for prompt resolution. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for park visitors to enjoy nature and recreational activities.
