Description
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time non-tenure track position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning in fall 2023. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Visiting Assistant Professor. The position is renewable for a second year.
This position is defined as teaching of organizational psychology and related subfields. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 6 courses per year (3 in the fall and 3 in the spring) at the graduate (both PhD and Master's) and undergraduate levels. Courses could include, but are not limited to, foundational courses at the graduate level in organizational psychology, advanced graduate-level seminars in organizational psychology, undergraduate organizational or personnel psychology, undergraduate research methods, and undergraduate statistics for psychological sciences. Courses will generally be conducted in person and synchronously. The successful candidate will also be expected to hold office hours, meet with graduate and undergraduate students to answer questions, write letters of recommendation when appropriate, and participate in discussions of curriculum and student evaluations as needed.

Candidates are required to have a PhD in industrial-organizational psychology or a related field and evidence of teaching effectiveness and/or ability.
