Sea Lion Corporation Controller

Sea Lion corporation, An ANCSA village corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller. The Corporate Controller will be located at the company Anchorage Headquarters. This role will involved in both corporate and project accounting and will report to our Chief Operating Officer.

If you have six or more years of experience, have a CPA, or CMA either public accounting, this could be the role for you!

Few of the Responsibilities are:

• Responsible for all the month-end, quarterly and year-end closing
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Review transaction coding and financial statements for accuracy, legal compliance and alighment to budgeted expense coding
• Cash and multi-year financial planning
• internal lead for annual financial audit and grants audit
• Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the financial state of the business
• Prepare the company financials according to US GAAP/GAAS standards to meet legal requirements and keep the fiancial state of the company in good standing
• ensure the company complies with financial regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in economica, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance from accredited college or university. A Master's Degree (M.A.) in accounting is a plus

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 Plus Benefits
