Colorectal APP needed in St. Petersburg, FL
Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or APRN to join our Colorectal Surgery team for a variety of inpatient and outpatient co-management of colorectal surgical patients. While previous experience is ideal, any motivated applicant who is eager to lean is welcome.
Orlando Health Bayfront is a thriving hospital located in the beautiful and growing Tampa Bay Region. The position involves a variety of responsibilities including both office and hospital-based care and may potentially include performing outpatient procedures and/or assisting in the operating room. This opportunity is Monday - Friday, and extra paid call is available, but not required.
The colorectal practice includes 2 experienced colorectal surgeons and excellent supporting staff, treating a wide variety of colorectal conditions. As an employed provider, Orlando Health provides a competitive salary and benefits package.
Education/Training
Nurse Practitioner
- MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
Physician Assistant
- Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
Licensure/Certification
Nurse Practitioner
- APRN license in the state of Florida.
- After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
- Maintains current BLS certification.
- Maintains ACLS, NRP, PALS certification as required by department
Physician Assistant
- Maintain current physician assistant licensure in State of Florida.
- Maintain current BLS/healthcare certification.
- Maintains ACLS, NRP, PALS certification as required by department
