Job Description
Reporting to Executive Director, provide budgetary and office management support to the Office of Intercultural Relations (OIR) & Women's Center Directors, Associate Directors, and Coordinators. Duties include, but not limit to, maintaining current budget information, reconciling monthly statements, OIR & Women's Center's transactions and fiscal summaries according to University policies; prepare reports, logs and analyze data for use by Budget Unit Director, and established by the Budget Manager for Student Enrollment and Engagement Services; and perform clerical functions.

Demonstrated knowledge of basic bookkeeping/budget management procedures. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of office practices and procedures. Demonstrated considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques when serving diverse customers. Working and demonstrated knowledge of information systems such as Banner, ePrint, Insight similar systems. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and make workflow decisions. Demonstrated ability to produce documents using PC-based software such as Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to enter and manipulate data and produce reports in database software.

Level and type of experience
Considerable experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Some experience in an administrative and office support role to include knowledge of budget management tools and working with fiscal transactions.

Some experience working in a college or university setting. Working knowledge of agency and state policies and procedures as related to the position. Some experience with Banner; Banner Analytics; document management and workflow. Education or training in secretarial science field, administration, business management or experience equating to the same knowledge.
Conditions of Employment
Given the nature of the positions in Student Engagement & Enrollment Services that provide support to student services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing as directed by his or her supervisor. These instances may include working from a remote location (i.e. telework, etc.).
