Chemical Materials Expeditor

Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support site wide chemical and material needs at a Semiconductor facility.
- Compile and maintain a record of orders, including in progress and completed orders.
- Provide order and delivery status to partners and identify remaining steps in process
- Communicate with vendors, partners, Air Liquide, Shipping/Receiving, Finance and Purchasing as needed.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers.
- Provide backup for current chemical and material inventory management staff.
- Learn site chemical and gas storage limitations
Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements for Chemical Materials Expeditor
- Knowledge of package gas industry.
- Associates in Business Management with emphasis on Material Management
- 3-4yrs Experience with Material Inventory
- 2yrs Experience with customer service and/or material expediting
- Knowledge and understanding of hazmat shipping requirements
- General working knowledge of common gas and chemical packaging
- Good communication skills
- Proficient with Excel and associated MS Office documents
