Job Duties
Duties and responsibilities will include:
EDUCATION: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE: Three years of secretarial experience is also required.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
Other Preferences for Consideration
First preference may be extended to candidates with some college experience and candidates that are knowledgeable in University applications (Banner/Websis, Canvas, Docusign) or budget and accounting experience.

Job Duties
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- The Administrative Assistant II for the Physics Department will act as the representing face of the department by responding to our internal and external customers and student through in-person, telephone and various email avenues;
- maintaining grades and various department records;
- managing various calendars;
- reviewing and assisting with the preparation of the course schedule, reports and other documents; processing incoming/outgoing mail;
- preforming other duties as assigned.
