Job Description
SENIOR RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE, McGovern Institute for Brain Research, to help manage the daily operations of the Fee Lab. Responsibilities include general laboratory organization and management, including purchasing and inventory control; managing the health and genetic diversity of a zebra finch colony; assuring compliance with animal welfare and environment, health, and safety (EHS) regulations; performing tissue histology and immunostaining; and management of a small computer network and data storage. The position offers an opportunity to directly participate in research projects, provided that the candidate is self-motivated and willing to learn.
