The Sr. Manager of Marketing will oversee the promotion and advertising efforts of a portion of Ventures Endurance’s 100+ endurance events, providing leadership while developing and managing marketing plans to drive race registrations. The right candidate is a data-driven marketer with a proven track record leading strategy and execution across multiple channels and is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. They are a collaborative leader with a strong grasp and holistic understanding of the marketing landscape and evolving digital channels.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and mentor a best-in-class marketing team
- Own strategy, marketing initiatives, performance, and campaigns that that drive race registrations, brand awareness, and community engagement
- Set strategic objectives across all channels and work closely with email, organic social, and paid social team members to ensure best practices are being met and goals are being met
- Analyze and adjust budget on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets or exceeds targets. Allocate spend accordingly to meet key objectives
- Oversee lifecycle marketing strategy and initiatives including end-to-end event campaign launches
- Work closely with the design team to produce visually appealing creative that is relevant and specific to each channel
- Continually test new content types and channels based on industry trends and channel reporting
- Tracking high-level event progress to ensure revenue and registration goals are being met and provide prompt insight if goals aren’t being met
Skills and qualifications:
- Strong marketing skill set including branding, digital, social, email, and paid advertising
- Highly skilled, hands-on digital marketing experience including, email, SEM, social media, marketing automation, SEO, and website optimization.
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into measurable action and execution.
- Results-oriented with strong initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills
- Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate critical thinking and make situation-appropriate decisions using sound judgment.

- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline.
- Knowledge and/or passion of the endurance industry a plus, but not essential

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400 and $140,300. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
