Position Purpose
The Client Technology Consultant, Event Support II, is responsible for enhancing audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) support for events. This role involves significant responsibility in coordinating and administering event AV services, ensuring flawless execution of technology solutions during events. The consultant serves as a critical liaison between technology services and event organizers, ensuring that event requirements are met, and technology integrations are seamless. This position is key in providing advanced troubleshooting and strategic support in the planning and execution stages of events.

Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in AV or IT event support, or an equivalent mix of education, experience, and certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and deliver client-focused service.
- Physical ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and twisting.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in an academic setting.
- Possession of technology-related professional certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of event participants, from attendees to high-level executives and event organizers.
