Event Center Manager

The City of Granite City is looking for an organized venue manager to handle the operations, maintenance, and bookings for "The Mill" Event Center located in Granite City, IL. This as a brand new city owned event space designed for musical shows, weddings, comedy shows, or other special events. 

To be successful, this individual should demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities and strong leadership skills. Ultimately, the qualified candidate for venue manager would have the ability to anticipate all logistics and requirements for events. The most qualified individual sill possess exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and ensure a substantial profitability for the venue.

Two years of events management, live music venue management, bar/restaurant hospitality management, or similar work history preferred.

Strong negotiation skills required.

Superior interpersonal and communication abilities.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Salary $30-$60K per year - benefits and salary negotiable depending on qualifications.
